Arena @ EXPO is Singapore EXPO's purpose-built concert hall, Hall 7, with room for about 6,600 to 6,700 people. It's in Changi, further east than the other venues, so give yourself extra travel time.
Two concert halls at EXPO
Singapore EXPO has two purpose-built concert halls. Check your ticket for which one:
- Arena @ EXPO (Hall 7): about 6,600 to 6,700 people.
- APEX @ EXPO (Hall 1): the newer, larger hall, up to about 9,000 people.
Both are reached from Expo MRT; follow the signs to your hall.
Getting there
- Expo MRT (CG1/DT35) is served by the East-West Line and the Downtown Line.
- From the city, the Downtown Line is usually the simplest, because you don't need to change trains.
- From the east, the East-West Line is usually easier.
- Buses to Halls 7 to 10 (Foyer 3):
- Bus stop 95909 (after Somapah Road): services 2, 12, 24 and 38.
- Bus stop 96331 (Changi South Ave 2): service 20.
- Taxi stands: Foyer 1 (I42) and Foyer 2 (I02). Private-hire pick-up and drop-off points are at Foyer 1 and Foyer 2.
- Driving: parking costs S$1.80 for each of the first two hours, then S$1.50 per 30 minutes, with no daily cap for cars.
Entry rules
EXPO doesn't publish one general list for the Arena. Each show posts its own rules, so check your event page. As an example, a 2026 concert page at EXPO listed:
- Not allowed: professional cameras, video cameras, zoom lenses, GoPros, iPads, binoculars, weapons, glass, laser pointers, fireworks, spray cans, noise makers, outside food and drinks.
- Selfie sticks, tripods, monopods and gimbals not allowed.
- Water bottles allowed only if they're not glass or single-use plastic, and empty at entry.
- Flash photography, videography and live streaming prohibited for that show.
That last point matters if you want to film. Some EXPO shows ban video entirely, so read the rules for your own event before you rely on recording.
Getting home
Fan and local-guide tips:
- Expect Expo station and the taxi stands to be busier than a normal night after the show.
- Pick a meeting point (an exit, a mall entrance or a taxi stand) before the show, so your group doesn't split up. Phone signal can be patchy when everyone leaves at once.
- Book rides away from the immediate exit, and allow time for the crowd to thin.
- Check the last train for your route before the show, especially if you need to change lines.
