Resorts World Ballroom concert guide: getting to Sentosa and back
The Resorts World Ballroom is a concert space at the Resorts World Convention Centre on Sentosa. The show itself is easy; the part that catches people out is getting off the island afterwards, so plan your trip home before you go.
Getting there
All routes start at HarbourFront MRT (North East and Circle lines), at VivoCity.
- Sentosa Express (monorail): go up to VivoCity Level 3, board the monorail and get off at Resorts World Station. The fare is S$4 (Sentosa entry), paid by EZ-Link or contactless card. First train 7 am, last train midnight.
- RWS8 bus: board at HarbourFront MRT Exit C and get off at the RWS B1 Transport Hub (about three stops). S$1 inbound, free when leaving.
- Public bus 123: runs to the B1 Transport Hub every 15 minutes, last bus 11:45 pm from both ends.
- Walk the Sentosa Boardwalk: from VivoCity Lobby F (Level 1), walk across the Boardwalk, then go down to B1 at the resort.
- Ride-hailing: the resort recommends the drop-off at B1 or the hotel lobbies.
Getting home: plan this first
- The last Sentosa Express leaves at midnight and the last 123 bus at 11:45 pm. A late encore can leave you racing for the last train.
- Know your backup: if you miss the monorail, the usual fallbacks are a ride-hailing pick-up from the resort or walking back across the Sentosa Boardwalk to VivoCity (check it's open that late). Expect queues after a big show.
- Check the MRT too: HarbourFront's last trains depend on your line and direction.
Rules
The venue doesn't publish a general list of banned items or a photo policy online. Each concert's organiser sets its own rules, so read your ticket email and event page for bag, camera and recording policies before you go.
